President of Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM), Tunku Tan Sri Imran Tuanku Ja’afar, who was also present at the event, shared his thoughts on Malaysia’s prospects for Olympic glory.
“It’s really hard to predict, but badminton has always been one of our strongest sports. We have very highly ranked players in the world standings.
“We also have a good archery team. In fact, they won the silver medal recently at the Archery World Cup, losing out only to Olympic gold medallists Korea,” he said.
