Kevin drops to 36th place

(NST) KEVIN Lim continues to struggle to lift himself from near the bottom of the pool in the Olympics laser competition in Qingdao yesterday.

The 32-year-old Kevin, sailing in his fourth Olympics, finished 34th in race six to drop one rung to 36th overall with only four races left to the medal round where the top-10 will sail off for to decide the medallists.

Kevin has already given up on his initial target of a top-20 finish and thus, will not be able to better his best achievement in the Olympics of 22nd placing in Sydney in 2000. -- Bernama
